The visa application charges will increase from 1 July 2015 in most visa categories.

Visas with strong international competition will see the visa fees increase by 2.3%  in line with inflation. These include:

• Permanent Migration Skilled Stream
• Skilled Graduate
• Temporary Long Stay Business (subclass 457)
• Visitor visas
• Student visas

The following visas will increase by 5% due to strong demand:

• Temporary Resident Short Term Business
• Entertainment Visas
• Working Holiday Visas
• Resident Return
• Retirement Investor
• Contributory Parent

Other family visas will see an increase of 10% and the Significant Investor Visa will increase visa fees by 50%.

A number of visas that have different pricing for onshore and offshore lodgement will be harmonised as well.
